My Friend Update

Dear Diary,

I forgot to write. I had called my friend D twice yesterday. Since I never heard from her. No call back so I drove by her house on my way home from work yesterday. Her vehicle was there and the engine was just cooling down so I figured she just got home.

She greeted me and I asked her if she got my message and that I hadnt heard from her Saturday. She replied “Was I supposed to call you?”

Then she said “oh yeah, we were supposed to get together” and sorta with a “Duh stupid me” face. She was just running her housekeeper/sitter home so I was gonna get the kids then meet back at her house.

My kids were all hyper when I got them. I was starving. It was near dinner time. I drove by her house, she wasnt back yet. I get cranky if I dont eat, plus the kids would be hungry, and wed be at someone elses place. So we just drove home. My little one was bummed, he had fun last time we went over there. So I called her when i got home and left a message. Said lets aim for a different day. She called me back last night but when I returned her call just got her machine. So its phone tag time.

But she seemed ok. I was concerned, but things seem ok. She just got a new dog when I stopped by. A Chocolate Lab. She said she just got it. I said “Where did you get it?” She smiled and said “My Friend” ahhh the gardener. He gave it to her. Eeeks! I cant even imagine how her husband will feel about it, hes already aware she is close to the gardener and their is jealousy go on and temptation on her part. Its like a train wreck waiting to happen.

So not sure when I will see her, but she seemed ok when.
