Dear Diary,

Morning, well almost noon. Late start today, have to wait for the guy to arrive to get started on the shower. And dont want mom to have to be stuck in my house so long.

So yesterday they demo’d all the tile! Its all gone, what was once a shower now looks like a closet. They still have to jackhammer out the pan which is what they are supposed to do today.

I asked how bad the water damage was in the wall, he said pretty bad and is going to need to spray a chemical on the wood to take care of that part.

Its just so nice to know that this is actually underway! I never dreamed Id be able to afford remodels and repairs of this nature. Its gonna probably cost me about a $1000 total.Labor and materials. Unless there are some unforseen problems.

Im just so excited in a way to see where I was, and where I am now.

Its nice to start to see your home come together in various ways. It consumes so much of my mind. If I had a huge shed Id literally clean my entire house, put everything back in it that I want, organize the shed for a yard sale, sell what I could, some stuff I want to sell online, organize and box that stuff up with a system, and then whatever doesnt sell at a yard sale and I can part with, I donate.

So that is really what I am doing, except minus cleaning house and having a big shed to do it in!

I drove by a store yesterday, had been looking for it, my gal pal told me its a Consignment store, so yesterday I tracked it down. I may be able to take some clothes, shoes and purses over there to sell! But need to actually stop in and inquire.

I still havent heard from the person who won my furniture auction that has to pick it up. Im anxious you know? I want to get that set up and that stuff hauled off. And my $50 too!

I also really want a mannequin. I have a lot of clothes and things to sell but they will photograph better to sell online with a mannequin.

Still dont know what is up with the neighbors, the little boy came over to play this AM and told my kids “We are moving” whoever “We” means. I sure hope that they dont go. 🙁 Or at least she stays in the house and keeps it, but we shall see.

Really sucks when you get neighbors you like and your kid finds a playmate, our boys are glued together.

Man, that will totally suck, I cant even explain what having a friend next door to play with has done for my kids.

Anyways, people have to do what they gotta do right? And you never know who the next new neighbors will be!

I think its just part of the reason why Id like to move eventually, Id like to live in a nicer area, with lots of families, decent families that is.

We have some kids a few houses down, that are just trouble, disrespectful, foul mouthed, they were playing baseball with another neighbors fruit of his trees, they are on everyones property, I never see an adult around them, and they just got a dog and call it “Nigger”

Its like the house they are in is a rental, this house used to look so nice, and now the yard is turning to dirt and crap and not maintained.

Ahhh dont get too ahead of yourself Vicky, Im all zoning out here thinking of moving into one of those old houses I adore.
