Should I Tell Him?

Dear Diary,

Well I just got home from work, my mom was watching the kids, we talked a little. She was sharing some interesting things the kids said today. So we were just talking about them. Then my Mom said “There is something I have noticed, about B. Does he ever laugh? Or have anything happy to share? He seems so negative. Is he always this way?”

And I told her some about him, I said yes he can be negative, serious, analytical, and you just have to tell him to knock it off, point it out, that its okay to tell him that. Shes all “Well Ive never told anyone “Why are you so negative?” before.

I told her that yes he does laugh and he can share happy things also. I said he actually is very sarcastic in humor and some people dont see it at times. She said “Well its not very becoming”

Not a whole lot else was said.

I guess I dont really hear much from Mom. Monday she made the remark about him fixing the cooler, and cant he do it? And then this remark today.

My kids are with her each day and Im wondering if they told her about us looking at Model Houses and she is thinking B and I are getting very serious. I dont know.

It is a little awkward for me.

Its not that I disagree with mom totally.

So, should I tell B about her comment? Or keep it to myself?
