Vacation Plans

Dear Diary,

Well B and I have been emailing back and forth, The kids go off track through March, so ex will have them two weeks out of that month, we have been discussing for sometime taking a vacation. We both feel burned out and we both have vacation time saved up.

So we are trying to coordinate, which is a pain in the ass, first I have to feel secure weeks are set out with the Ex. Next I have to put in a request to work, as does B to see if we can both get the time we want. THEN deciding what to do. Dang, is that much of a pain to try and vacation for others?

I guess since I havent really traveled since being married, it was easier then as I didnt work and so didnt have to request time off, and I went on a few trips minus the ex so he and my mom tended to the kids. Now My ex has a fit if I ask him to watch them any other time that what is specified as his.

Soooo, B is looking up Nashville. He is writing to his bro/buddy there to ask him what he thinks of us coming out, and about the weather in Mid March.

We can always do Vegas if we cant come up with anything, but heck would be fun to go somewhere different. The real only other place we have discussed wanting to go to is Hawaii, but that will take more time off, Id want to do a full week for that one and have more $$$ saved and all. Nashville wed have a place to stay and all.

Ive never been to Hawaii, and B has and wants to take me to this place he went to when he was there, he also knows of a spot to swim in a waterfall he wants to take me too.

So wish us luck on our plans, we both need it.(time off that is!)
