Surprise Visit

Dear Diary,

Morning.

YAY its Friday! B is coming up tonight! We are making dinner most likely.

I havent been to the gym all week. Except the day I got the tv from Gym Guy and he came with flowers and guilt trips.

I was dressed to go on Tues, but drove down the street, turned around and went home, I pulled out my workout tape and did it at home instead. I twisted my ankle slightly monday so Im laying off the cardio right now(which is my big thing I do at the gym) But think its best to go easy on the ankle, especially with B and I going hiking Sunday.

So Im going to go into the gym today, thats the plan anyways.

B and I are going to a screening of a film the boss invited us too on Saturday, and if B gets paid today we are gonna go to our fave restaraunt for Vday. Otherwise if hes not paid, we will just fix dinner at my place.
I bought him a card, its kinda mushy, I actually had read it a few weeks ago and put it down, and there was one left when I went to the store the other morning.

Hes all into this vacation, he said hes taking one regardless of what his work says. EEKS? Anyways his called his Buddy in Nashville and they said no prob we can stay.

B’s looked up airfare. Around $231 round trip per person. We are looking at a fly out Friday AM and Fly home Tues Eve.

So thats the early stages of what we would LIKE to do.

I have to put in my request still, then if its approved talk to my Mom about watching the kids that friday since they will be out of school and ex gets them that eve.

So last night there was a knock at my door at around 7pm. Immediatly I thought “Whos here at this time? Gym Guy?”

I was a little nervous,, well opened the door and there is my Ex’s Aunt and her daughter. She had a bag of goodies for us. Her one daughters husband works for Keebler now so she brought goodies galore(ugh lol just what I need!) I already packed some with the kids, the cookies that is and took some to my Moms this AM cause Ill just devour all the cookies and the kids are leaving for the weekend with their Dad.

Anyways, we just chit chatted, I have always liked this Aunt and got along and its the one relative since the split that we see the most.

I do wonder though, how she stops by unannounced like this, and its usually bringing cookies and once his Uncle came by.

I wonder if they are checking up on me. As my ex just went on his thing about me having MEN in the house, and remembering how his Mom showed up long ago unannounced early on a Sat AM and was all looking nosey through the house, even wanted to go out back to see the dog. ( She lives 4 hrs away and has never shown up unannounced) But we dont see her here anymore, shes not welcome here and I havent talked to her in years.

Anyways, not that theres anything to be worried about, I dont care if the aunt stops by, I just hope its not anything weird that prompts her to pop by. Each time shes come Im home alone with the kids doing homework usually.

So Sunday, depending on the weather, B and I are going to a swap meet that AM, then hiking on the larger trail where we went last time.

Its good exercise and something we both can do together and enjoy.
