Visited old Friend

Dear Diary,

I just got home from getting my oldest. He informed me he saw his Dad today at school? He said he drove up and talked to him briefly through the fence. Told him hes sleeping at his Aunts house, which is right at the end of the school. Bleh.

So as I drove out I peered down the street as we drove home and there was his truck. Whats he doing here? Hes not seeing them until Friday? Wonder if he wore out his welcome at his cousins place? Or if hes out here because of the court papers stuff? Who knows, I just dont like him around thats all I know.

I got off work early and met mom at the dr with my youngest. He needed a physical for school. Everything went fine, the dr told me he was a little too skinny for his percentile. Eh, so what Im supposed to make him eat more? I was a skinny kids, and my youngest eats pretty much anything, hes just high energy and burns it fast. Hes healthy and fine. He had to get a blood test and a urine test, so he was all WHAT? when I told him he had to pee in a cup. He did get a kick out of it and we laughed. He did great through it all.

I had to pick up some medications for my boss also there.

On the way out I stopped by my friends D’s house. I wrote about her just recently. Shes about 42 married, 3 kids, christian woman, we spent a lot of time together and my ex worked for her husband for a year.

So she called me this last week and Id been so busy so we drove by her house. Me and my littlest stayed for about 2 hrs. It was nice to just hang out with a woman again. I really like her and I think she is so pretty. She has that dark black hair and pretty eyes. She has a 8, 5 and a 3 yr old and is homeschooling them. So we caught up more on life, what we have both been doing. She wants to have me and the kids over for dinner and told me what church they are attendign now and asked me if Id come with them one sunday. I said yes I would. 🙂 Shes all “Ill pick you and your kids up”

She also asked about my dating life. About the guy Im dating since I mentioned it before when I was last there, when she asked. I just said I had someone special. So today shes all “Well so how are things with this guy going?” I just said that it wasnt going in any direction of seriousness, like marriage or anything, that we see one another about once a week and im not ready to jump into the whole gotta get married again deal. She said to me “Victoria, your a good catch” I just sat there, it was weird, it wasnt some guy saying it to me trying to pick up on me but a woman friend, then she said “Dont you settle” and that was all she said. 🙂

Her house is sooo beautiful. It always was, but they added on since I have been around. They added onto the patio area a room where she does the homeschooling, a bathroom but then they added a cute little loft above it with some wasted space. So my youngest had so much fun playing there. And her daughter is sweet and friendly as can be. They also have a huge wood fort out back, so my son was entertained totally. Its just a nice home, nice feel, she had praise music and things playing on the stereo.

So I look forward to spending more time with her and she said we would talk more, that she went through a lot at a point during her marriage and she talked about the church’s lack of help, turns out she was in the same congregation I was in, and that i have a lot of bad feelings about.

I am now home, making pork chops, mmmmmm

And my boyfriend is non exsistant once again. I dont really see him online anymore. He popped on briefly this AM, said hello and said he was goign to go shower and be productive. I sure hope he is today. I emailed him some self help stuff I read yesterday. Life Strategies thing by Dr Phil.
