How do I read this?

Dear Diary,

Well, I spoke to boyfriend online. He spoke about his day, how it was nice seeing people, and talked about his grandma and what he did there and helped her move things, etc etc. Then he stopped, So I asked how his Teacher friend was he visited.

Him : Shes doing ok, having a rough time with some things but hanging in there

Me:What kinda rough things? Her divorce?

Him: She will be ok, yes the divorce, she will be ok I think but things wont go smoothly.

Me: Why is he being a jerk?

Him: Basically. But hes just doing what he has to ya know? Hes a dirty player, and its mainly the kids.

Me: Ah how old are they?

Him: Youngest just graduated high school, she has about 4 or 5 kids. They have sided with him and it hurts her a lot.

Me: Sided over what?

Him:Well other than that isnt really your business. They just think she is wrong in all this and that spousal support is unneeded and that she is taking away money from them. Like he doesnt give them money cause he says he doesnt have any cause he has to pay her and they hate her for it.

Me: Not my business, whats that about?

Him: I dont exactly feel the details of other peoples lives are things I need to discuss with you

Me:ok

Him: Its like you dont really know her at all and I think its rude for me to talk about intimate details of her life with you. I know you, you will keep asking if I dont tell, its not a bad thing, you are just curious and you like to know things.

Me: Yeah well I guess Im rude

Him: Well would you like me to run around discussing your life with strangers?

Me: Im a stranger? Ugh, Im your girlfriend

Him: Im aware of that, you arent a stranger to me. Im gonna go take a shower.

And he left.

Now I understand some parts of that. I tell my boyfriend a lot of stories about people in my life, he loves hearing about people and always asks and wants to listen. And a month or so ago he was dogging a childhood friend, sending me pics of him and his fiance, talking about how hes a virgin and all this stuff. So Im confused on what he is saying?

I was telling a friend, Older attractive woman teacher, calls on old student to come hang out while shes going thru a divorce. Boyfriend is defensive of her and wont share with his girlfriend whats going on with her. This teacher took him out for drinks when he turned 18.
