AWESOME NEWS!!!
Dear Diary,
Well just dropped the little one off at school, had to make heart shaped PB and J sandwiches for his party. I purchased him one of the heart balloons and candy, wish I could see his face when he gets it delivered. He will have a blast, school parties were always fun as a kid.
Last night after I posted the chat I told the Dating man I was gonna log off and we were swapping over to talk on the phone, then he says “Id love to talk, Im chatty tonight, Im not sober” I guess in a way I was a little sad, that all those things he was saying were when he had been drinking, and I guess I was wondering why was he drinking like that. I did call him and he was very talkative and expressive of his feelings, which is the way he gets when he is drinking, he has told me it was the only time his mother said I love you to him was when she was drunk. Now Im not saying hes like that, he does tell me he loves me often, but last night he was soft, friendly, no guard up of course due to the alcohol. He then said to me “Why did you go back to your Ex that last time?” He doesnt really talk about stuff like that, so I got to peek into some of what he thinks about and what bothers him with his inhibitions down. Then he had to go his roomate needed the phone, he was supposed to call back but Im guessing she was on the phone late.
OH! I just got a Call! TOTALLY COOOOOL NEWSSSS! It was the attorneys office, and she said “For some strange reason the amended petition to separation was never submitted to the courts, so your still at Divorce status”
YES!!!!!!! LOL Im so happy! I dont have to get him to sign the amended papers again all because of an oversight(Thank you God) So we can proceed!!!!!!!! Thank you God THank you Thank you! My Ex never responded to the last paper sent nor returned the attorneys office calls. Now he cant hang me up!!! I know he isnt wanting to believe Im divorcing him, its evident by the flowers for what would have been our Wedding Anniversary.
So Um Happy Valentines Day Im getting Divorced! HA! And Happy about it!
