Struggle & Going through the Fire

Good times: Pride, arrogance, isolationism, one man island mentality, invincible, divisive, developing non biblical ideas and belief systems.
Bad times: Humility, fear of loss, gathering of strength, dropping of non biblical ideas and belief systems, “no man is an island” mentality.

Dear Diary,
I woke up this am to read this post from Dr. Daniel Daves

“God is going to have a united church, and He is going to unite his MAN-CHILD company to where the dragon and his angels will be powerless against them. Intense heat will be used to melt the churches, denominations, and various sects together AS ONE! This intense heat will burn away false, non biblical ideas, divisions of men, and stupid controversies that weaken the body of Christ. Look for the heat to come, as it is on it’s way. Make sure that you are following men and women who are comfortable living in the heat, and who are preaching a message that’s born from out of the heat.

We allow the fires of Heaven to burn away anything that doesn’t belong in our present or future. The Word of God becomes our standard. We believe what He believes. We mature quickly to accept others and to put away stupid arguments and divisive behavior. We are focused, and we filter out human sentiment and foolish arguments of men that keep us ineffective. This is why we read the Holy Bible every day and give ourselves to it’s authority and command over our lives. We walk IN the fires of God, and we ARE comfortable in the fire, well identified with it, and we serve in the fire, speaking from within that fire.”

And I was reminded of hearing something not long ago about how our children and newer generations do not understand what it meants to STRUGGLE, HARDSHIP and lack.

Granted some do of course especially in other countries, but in the USA, we have been spoiled, we have lived in such comfort, most of our children we raised to protect them from so much.

And then those living on Government assistance now can get a house and their food paid for. Sure there is struggle in living that way, but really its NOT, its dependency on the government created that causes people to sit still and not hustle and find a way out for fear of losing that, So then they have no motivation to better themselves.

My mom lived during the depression, she was a little girl. She remembers, tells the stories of how they ate potato everything because its the one thing they had plenty of and could store up in the root cellar. They were farmers, and they had a cow and chickens, so always had that too.

My parents struggled, they worked hard, they werent frivilous during my lifetime. They didnt spoil me, I had to work and earn $$ for everything I wanted, no handouts, no expensive trendy clothes and items. I wanted something like that? I bought it myself.

Sure it was frustrating in some ways, but in the big scheme? It all is really nothing, sure I wish I had cooler clothes so that I felt like I “Fit in” more, but seriously?? What did I loose out on? Nothing really, it taught me to be thankful, it taught me understanding as Ive gotten older that they did their best, but also were wise with how they spent it.

Going through my divorce in my 20s with 2 small children, I was low income, qualified for food stamps and reduced rate utilities. I hustled and worked hard in so many ways, trying to keep a steady flow of income coming in, with all of these little things, they provided a tank of gas, paid a utility bill or bought some groceries. I shopped the 99 cent store. I learned how to spread $20 over a week for a family for food (cheap ground beef, pasta and spaghetti sauce can go along way)

I also had to endure a lot of emotional trauma and abuse, dealing with a court system that doesnt really take the time to know peoples situations and doesnt really help, we seem to all want to go there to make things RIGHT and FAIR. With our hopes that this is how the law works. But really they have no idea, they see people day in day out, same scenario, get annoyed, dont know any back story, get frustrated, listen to you for a good 5-10 min and then base things off that?

Its very difficult to sit in a court room and listen to a person be given a platform to cut you down and tell bold face lies against you (Bear false witness)

Everything inside of you screams for justice and for the truth to be revealed and you are trying to maintain your composure, saying bible vs in your head for God to protect you, and trying to hold back the tears until you walk out of there.

Having children who turn on you, thats PAIN and STRUGGLE, believing the lies of the accuser, its heart wrenching, because you love these kids with all that is within you! And it breaks your heart for them to accuse you of being a liar or wrong and unable to hear the truth.

So yeah, that is struggle, or those who meet up with Cancer and serious illness, or deal with Death, THAT IS STRUGGLE and SUFFERING.

We think going without the internet or cell phones is struggle now.

And what is going to happen when we reach another period of LACK in our country, when everything is yanked out from under us?

We are so dependent on the electrical grid. Have you ever thought about how our life is dependent on that? I mean seriously stop and think. Would most of what we do, jobs, society as it is function if the electrical grid went down or was taken out?

But my parents lived in a generation that lived that life and people prior to that. People made it, people lived. People survived, they worked harder! They were self sufficient, they worked together, the entire family pitched in and worked HARD!

We have lost so many skills and have not learned them or passed them down.

Gardening! So important! We all should be taught this and how to grow our own food! I mean think about it, if we could be faced with lack or finances, wouldnt this be a no brainer??? If we had just some basics even growing in our yards. We have these beautiful landscaped yards or just pave them over with concrete, when food is LIFE and its important.

PLus our food today is tampered with and not it its natural state anymore, why do you think so many people are sick!

I had heard that the church is stirring right now, its going through a great stirring! To shake it up and wake it up! And the only way that comes is through suffering (persecution)

Because when times are good, well we are content and as stated above the traits of good times vs bad times and what is produces in people.
