The Wedding
Morning,
Well this is just a quick update. I went to my girlfriends wedding yesterday.
It was at 1pm. Small. Mainly grooms family. Her side was her sis, girlfriend and me(and our partners and her girlfriends children)
Well the wedding was delayed, she wasnt there yet, she got there and didnt have her dress or the rings! Someone had to go back to the house.
It must have started almost an hour late. But it went well, she looked so beautiful. Amazing how gorgeous a simple dept store dress with a veil can look.
But her daughter, shes 9, put her head down walking down the aisle, her face red, she was going to cry, I could see it. Next thing D’ sister tells her to come sit and is consoling the daughter.
Wedding is finished, and 9 yr old has locked herself in a bathroom stall and wont come out and saying “I dont want Mommy married”
They do pictures without her, D tried to talk to her, new hubby did also, then shed turn around and run back in.
I know divore is hard on kids, but I know there father has not helped this situation either.
Well we go to the reception, the daughter is now in a good mood, sitting next to her step dad, decorating tables, holding his cousins babies, social.
Well I notice the kids leave with her girlfriend. Thinking they are watching them for the honeymoon. B and I go over to hug, say goodbye. I ask her where the kids will be. Shes all “oh my gosh, you didnt know?”
Okay, I am so pissed off, have been since hearing this, so to those of us who have idiot ex’s, well ares our nothing compared to this….
Her ex took the kids on a 3 week vacation prior to this, which she didnt want to marry while the kids were gone and while she was on break from teaching would have been ideal to do so. But ex pulled this stunt. SO! He hired a private to detective to photograph, he had picture of her son with a knife in his hand holding it near his eye, and then claimed the boyfriend(now hubby was sleeping over) and sharing a bed with two lovers. etc etc etc.
I was all OMGOSH. I dont know the particulars of the photos yet, but her son is 3 andloves toy swords and things, everytime Im there shes mock sword fighting with him, he loves the Princess Bride, a little happy boy who loves classics and wooden swords and is just a little boy!
Im all “omgosh does the attny know?” Shes all “Yes he kicked butt to get my kids here today for the wedding, we sat in cour 8 hrs yesterday to get the kids her, I have monitored visitation and my girlfriend is the monitor, we have a hearing the 8th. We almost called the wedding off, we decided as of 11am to still do it.
Im so disgusted, she is a good mom, the new husband is a good guy, and heaven forbid if a child crawls up on his mom in bed while watching tv???? Im disgusted, angry, this has nothing to do with the kids, he is trying to punish her and prevent her from marrying the guy. I pray to God he gets his ass whipped in court for all this stuff hes done, no wonder the daughter was a mess. The father has even had prayer groups to pray for D. People telling the 9 yr old “Your Mommy is a very bad woman”
