Woohoo Hotel Booked

Dear Diary,

Well early today I went online to book the hotel for the 4th of July. I figured Id better do it early since it was booked when I tried last year, and to find anything in Santa Barbara itself would be expensive..

So I go to two online site to book the dates, and they say None available. I was all Darnit! I do it early and its still too late!

I then tried Hotels.com or something like that and it came up with the day I wanted! It was $165 olus fees on the net, etc, came up to $193.

So I called the hotel itself. They said it was $155 with a 2 nite stay minimum on the weekend. I said thanks, and called B and told him and wanted to see if he was interested in one or 2 days. So he said he just found out he has the 5th off at work.

So I called tonite at home to book, and the guy said its $175! Grrrr. Im all, “I called earlier and it was $155” And the guy tells me that those priced rooms are not available. I asked what the difference was. He said the room now faces the courtyard.

Sooo it looks like its really pretty, I can see pics on the net, a fountain, tables and chairs, its all spanish style so its like a little village in the center. The place has a heated pool, jacuzzi, fitness room, restaraunt, and the room has lots of stuff, a fridge, tv, phone is free for first 30 min,,, its a Non smoking facility, etc etc..

Ive driven by it every time I go to Santa Barbara, and Ive read reviews on the place, and it looks and sounds good.

So I cringed at the higher price, then the guy said “Do you have any discount cards?” I said I had AAA. He said “Well the rates are $148 a night with that” :)YAY! So I booked it!

So I have 2 nights booked for the 4th of July weekend in a city I love and where I wanted to spend my 4th!

Room also has 2 beds. Have no idea what the kids schedule and their Dad will be like then. So I may or may not have them.But had to say right now.

So B just messaged me and told me his old workout buddy is moving in down the street!

He said “Looks like Ill have a work out partner again” So if he really does move down the street from B, I think he will get disciplined and go to the gym like he did when we first were dating ( B looked super awesome and this guy and him are great work out buds) But the guy moved out of town, then B moved. So now they are gonna be close by again.

So this weekend will be family time, i called my middle sis and she said it was fine to have my kids around hers, hers had the vaccine and a mild case of chicken pox after they got it. So she said it would be fine, and even by then the kids will be pretty much in good shape. They are healing well.

So the kids will have other kids to play with Saturday and Sunday! And I will get to bond some with middle sissy. Not sure if oldest sis will come out or not.

Ive been an ebay mad woman this past week also. Since no B around, no class this week, no gym and not able to go out due to the kids. Im a selling machine.

Its exciting too! Just seeing things you have around the house selling and getting paid for it. Woohoo!

I just cant wait till I get my tax money. No more debt other then a house payment! Wooohoooo!

I went by the thrift store on my way home the other day, and I found a Veggie Tales Bob the Tomato. So I picked him up to buy him. And As Im holding him he blurts out “GOD LOVES YOU AND THINKS YOUR SPECIAL!” or something like that, LOL people looked at me, I didnt know it spoke, it was one of those moments where in my head I was thinking silly in B terms… “Deerrr Im special” being all silly when he goofs up on things.
