Withdrawl Method Works
Dear Diary,
Morning!
Well I got offline last night and there was a message from B at about 11:15. He had said he called earlier but thought he had the wrong number and realized it was my Mom who answered the phone.
Dingaling, he can call my cell phone.
Anyways, class was done early so I went by my old neighborhood as a kid on the way out and ended up hanging with a childhood friend and his wife for about an hour catching up. Its weird, Ive known him since he was like Kindergarten age, and hes same age as B! Well a few mos younger, but still. Im looking at him trying to imagine dating him and he seems so young haha!
It was a nice visit and something different. 🙂
So I just logged off and got in bed and didnt call B. I read my book and went to bed by midnite, Ive been up till 1am lately and Im dying in the AM but Ive just been awake and doing stuff lately and have to make myself go to bed. So I wanted to at least get to bed by midnite.
I forgot my book today! I wanted to read it during break time, oh well, tonite then.
So I get an email from B this AM, telling me a coworker is having a party, and would I like to go? 🙂 He invited me to do something! And with a months notice! It will fall on ex’s weekend with kids, and even if that doesnt pan out thats enough time to have a babysitter back up ready if neccessary. Woohoo!
It just feels nice to have him ask me to go with him and do something with him. I swear this book may change a lot for me!
I think the main thing that stood out is how we begin to become like our mates Mothers, and how this happens, and so when I get to the analogy story I read that was just a riot but true, Ill put it here because it broke it down so simple and it made total sense!
Well today is the day to find out if we get the Boxer puppy! I called the other day and she was still there, so today we can adopt her if shes not been picked up by an owner. So Ill call after noon or so and check in! My kids are excited also, so lets hope shes still there! We may have a new dog as of tonight! And Ive been trying to come up with a name for her.
