Vacation Dreams
Dear Diary,
Well Im going to attempt church tonight. I havent been in MONTHS. So it starts in about 2 hrs.
I got my first credit card on my own! I was a bit shocked when I filled out the online application and it said I qualified. I tried last year and I couldnt even qualify.
I mainly got it for my own credit, and for emergencies. So it will be my first Credit on my own not being part of a married couple and its from my income solely that I qualified. WOOOHOOOO!
Im paying off one credit card but I cancelled it right away after ex and I split. Ill have it paid off with my tax refund! Woohooo!
So Im dreaming about a vacation for the kids and I. I will admit Im terribly sad I will most likely not have a male partner to share that vacation with. Well because I doubt B will be able to get the kind of time off, and even if I met somebody else come the New Year not sure theyd be going on a vacation with me and my kids.
I have been saving up my vacation hours. So come the New Year I will have enough time handy to use. I never did take my vacation after my refund this last year. But I know I need to just set it up right away this time and not wait. I deserve, I need it, and Im sure the children would love it! So not sure how many days I will go away for, Heck I could take a week if I want! But most likely something like 4 days 3 nights. Go get a vacation rental in Cambria. Eat out in the cute little restaraunts, see the sites, buy some goodies for the kids, pack up fun things to take along for them and buy them some new toys or games to take, and a good book and some things to pamper myself.
Oh I cant wait. 🙂 I have to do this, and not let it slip away this time! And Im gonna get one with a Jacuzzi! Bring candles, light the cozy fireplace. Bring some CDs. Oh did I mention I cant wait! Also I could go see Hearst Castle, not sure how the kids will do on a tour like that, but we shall see.
Ah dreams are nice, but this is a goal and it will be attainable. I just need to really jump on it and plan it ASAP while I have the money.
Sigh…
