I need to GroW UP!

Dear Diary,

Well here we go. You want to witness correspondence with my Ex? Well here is a sample of what I deal with.

My letter states,

“I sent you an email once before asking for a address and a phone number. I need that information from you of wherever you are living when you take the kidss. I need to be informed and know their whereabouts. All you told me is **** and you said your phone doesnt work there.

I need this information in order for them to go and visit this weekend. Otherwise I cant let them go without knowing where they are or how to find or contact them.

His response. And yes the spelling and grammar errors I left intact.

“First of all there is nothing in the court papers as to saying that I i need to give you an address. Second, If you need an address to “let me have the boys” why is it you and not your lawyer asking? If it is more for your assurance I done have a problem with that. I Do have a big problem with you treating me, I have asked you for number of things to which you have not replied. Third, the biys tried calling you three times last weekend on your cell and your home; you did not answer, your return their call.

Victoria, you think by now we could grow up, and start acting like adults? And stop this treating crap!

I would like to work something out with you about the boys for Halloween?

Victoria, Lets grow up! Where both adults here we need to start to learn to deal with each other in these matters.

Well I did get the address and number though! I just am not sure if the address was totally complete, like if it was a street or avenue and verifying the city.

But see what I have to deal with?

My response to this was…

“I will be with the kidss on Halloween, you can pick them up friday at 6pm at the courthouse.

Also the address you gave me. Is its a street? or Ave? Or is that just it? And that is ***** correct?

My attorneys office cant seem to reach you. They want to set up a meeting to settle things. They called me today and said all they have is a out of state and a Relatives address to send you mail. They asked me where you are at and I didnt have an address either. They then told me to not let the children go if you are not providing me numbers or an address for where you live. They said they have called your cell number but it said it was out of service. So they want to set up a Meeting Nov 12th I believe is the date to settle things.

Also Tuesdays and Thursday, Sunday are YOUR nights for calling the kids if you read the paperwork. I do not make them CALL YOU, its says YOU CALL. The papers say they can call you whenever THEY WANT TO. But dont put the burden on the children to be the ones to call you on YOUR DAYS to call, that is your responsibility. Tues, thurs and Sundays are the days YOU CAN call. And it says between 6-8pm. This last week you called at 8:50 and 9:20. The kids are in bed by then, and that is not the time in the paperwork. So make sure to call them before 8pm.

So howd I do? My boss wifey had a talk with me yesterday about not engaging in things that he is trying to draw me in over. So if you notice I didnt respond to everything in his letter. Because well, whats the point? When I was with him he did this to me all the time, drew me in with blame over various things to try and take emphasis off himself.

For example saying that the kids are trying to reach me during their visits with him? My oldest could not remember my cell number. I even wrote it on his overnight bag, but he tried calling me while he was out with his Dad and did not have the bag with. My ex knows this number but will not dial it for kids, so my oldest kept dialing the wrong number. So its like why waste my breath on discussing that with my ex? Or explaining why I would prefer not to pay $50 to have my attorney mail him a letter saying to tell the address.

I just wanted to write back “And I need to grow up and act like an adult! FUck You. I have raised and supported these kids and done everything right by the laws. Get a life”

But I didnt include that in my letter. 🙂
