Met MOM

Dear Diary,

I just wanted to take a moment to say Thank you to all of my readers and commentors. Some of you have been with me for quite awhile in my life, seen me through so many ups and downs. I greatly appreciate this. This diary has been a good form of therapy in many ways for me, and I feel connected to many of you from having written here.

Even if I dont comment much or say much to those of you, its doesnt mean that I dont listen, read or am unaware. Please know that I really appreciate all of you so very much! I would hug each and every one of you!

Ive been writing in segments here, as time allows. I forgot to add that Boyfriend and Mom met! She showed up to drop off more furniture while he was here and my youngest went and told her “We have 2 people here now!” So I told her my friend was inside working on my computer. I then went inside and said “Cmon its time to meet my Mom” haha, it was in a very easy manner to meet. He went out and said hello, she was friendly, then he helped her get a desk out of her truck to put in my garage. And that was pretty much it, she was off again. But its just kinda nice to get that outta the way.

She brought over this 50s blonde wood desk! Its so cool, mainly the handles on the drawers! haha, they are long and sort of v shaped. Sorta space like. I was like oohhh coool! When I saw it. I think I have decided my oldest is going to get his whole bedroom redone with some of this stuff. Since its in again, its trendy looking. Just some of the items will have to be painted and reinforced in a few places. So all I will need is to find him a cool bedding set to go with the funky style. I think it will be a good idea. He will have such a cool room, and hes growing up, so it can take him out of that babyish, little boy room feel. I have SOOO many projects ahead of me!

The weather is getting hot here! Like in the upper 90s! And my swamp cooler isnt ready yet. My mom said we will get up on the roof, she will service it and check all the water lines and we will change out all the pads. Sunday evening, its way to hot to be up there during the day so we have to do it in the eve just before the sun goes down. Thank goodness for a handy mother! I get a kick out of it at times. 4 guys were setting up the cooler with beers yesterday. And I was thinking of the jokes “How many guys does it take to work on a swamp cooler?” Then theres my mother doing it all by herself.HA!

I think tommorow kids and I will take off to the beach again. We will go more close to home though, The beach we went to with C and his wife was nice and better rated as far as Cali beaches goes. But the drive was too long. So I told them we can just go tommorow. So we shall see, the weather is getting super hot, so its ideal time to get to the beaches. Ive never really been a tan girl, with my fair skin, but if I go out often and watch it, I can look pretty good. My hair is getting long, Im working out, developing some muscle, its small but I can tell my thighs and arms are changing. Its a good feeling. I will invite boyfriend see if he wants to go with, we can just pick him up hes on the way. But either way, I want to go, Its good to get out!
