Anniv, Flowers, & The Ex

YAY! Time to write!

I have some time alone today to write. Im in heaven!

So technically yesterday is the day that B and I began, well as far as began being interested in one another and getting intimate and all that good stuff. Funny how I dont even have the date down, I know its middle of Jan is all. B remembers the date, hell, this time around in a relationship Im terrible with remembering dates, so he makes up for that part. 🙂

So I got flowers delivered at work yesterday! YAY! And the card said simply “Happy Anniversary Darlin”

B says “Darlin” and it comes out like that and I love it, so was sweet he put that on the card with his spelling cause thats how he says it. It was a bouquet with Iris, Tulips and Im not sure what else as Im terrible with knowing all names of flowers and most of them are not open or are just starting too.

Well then he comes home from work, we decided to use our CHili’s certificates and go to dinner, mom would watch the kids, well B comes home and gives me an IPOD Shuffle!??? I knew he wanted to get one, but he said he ordered himself one too but it hadnt arrived yet. AND Hes ordered accessories to go with it!?

Okay so I gave the guy a card, and we did dinner, cause thats what we usually do, and he does all this? Of course I feel lame cause Im frickin broke. So Im going to get him the new video game he wants, I gotta preorder it today.

Some kids came by on the weekend a few houses down and asked if anyone there wanted to start a basketball team, I replied “No sorry, not right now” as I guess I have been put off by these kids, but the day the bike was stolen they had 2 of theirs taken also.

See this is a family that Im sure is renting, its about 4 down from me, the house has gone to crap, the lawn is dead, the kids are out at all hours and all over peoples property and I never see parents.

Well as we came home last night they were playing basketball outside, my little one loves basketball, I really need to get him in a sports league and its what the therapist recommended for him also, plus at the private school there is less sports and PE until he gets to 5th grade which sucks for him. So I told little one what the boys asked me about, he lit up and said YES! So I told him he could go down and play, but just outside, I dont want him in the house and if there is foul language or talk he knows my thoughts on it.

Well he played his little heart out till we left for dinner, he was dripping sweat( I havent seen him like that in a LONG TIME) and I guess there are kids further down the street, they are doing teams and going to play so right now its “Practice” Which I find it cute and cool you know? Ive been a little judgemental about the kids, but its okay if my son is outside playing ball, maybe its time I get to know those kids, and little one knows he cant play until homework is done, which I dont think those kids even have anyone around them or they do homework, etc, as they are sometimes outside at 11pm or so at night(they are around age 10-12.

B and I had dinner, it was yummy, we had trouble with the waitress though and we didnt get our appetizers and were left waiting and on and on, so we got the appetizers free. 🙂

I got in last night and laid down and crashed out, I watched Wife Swap and fell asleep briefly during it, then woke up hearing B on the phone. He was talking to his highschool buddy that he wants to visit and catching up.

He came into bed some time after 11pm and kept talking so I was in and out of sleep, he finally crawled into bed and said his usual “Give me the butt” lol, which basically means turn over and he will spoon me.

No sex, funny how I have a guy who just isnt all about a night of hot sex for the anniv. stuff.

Not that we havent had more as of recent, but hes just not that aggressive of a person sexually and can go without it.

Okay, so onto other things…….

I got a voice mail this AM from my ex.

It says…. and yes I typed it word for word

“I just got my bills from the only job I had, Im not making as much money as you think that I am, now Im not making nothing, I was gonna give you some money this week, but now I cant even do that, so Im totally unemployed, I have nowhere else to go, nothing else to do, so I guess we will see eachother in court”

I dont even bother to reply to that sort of stuff and I dont answer my phone from him usually anyways, I dont want to hear it.

Of course it doesnt totally make sense. Ive never claimed how much money I think he makes, ever. The support amount was set up by him and his attny! LOL He signed it! He also signed it with the divorce. So if he has a problem with the amount he is to take that up, all I know is he told me he makes $15 an hour cause he thought I made more then him, Im all NO? I make $10?

So either his job just got notified and he did his usual QUIT the job routine(hes done it 2 other times in the past when a wage assignment was issued)

Hes had this job for well over a year now.

My youngest also informed me while we were shopping the another night that something was wrong with Dads started on his Jeep, that his Dad was in an accident. And that he hit a Lexus and had to buy the person a new bumper.

Its like My goodness, my ex and the crap he gets into, I know how bad he is about even getting insurance, let alone coming up with money for a repair for someone. And he has had some issues in the past, he totalled a rental car and was at fault, he got his truck repoed, hes bought 4 vehicles in the last 2 yrs or so. Hes been pulled over and had his license taken until he paid an unpaid speeding ticket, a ticket arrived awhile back to my place from Texas for speeding, get the idea?

You know what Im most surprised about is that I havent heard any word that he has fathered anymore children.

Hes not good about using protection, has or HAD a high sex drive, etc. There was the claim from the one girl when we separated but I think it was bogus.

Anyways, so will see what develops with my ex. Hes finally feeling it, what hes not taken care of and blown off he now will have to answer too.

I made a change to my IRA for work, I have had it now for almost 2 yrs, but cant afford much to put in, so it was 4%, so I uped it to 10% , my employer matches each dollar also. So Ive been reading a lot as of late and B has his stuff started at work and urged me to put more into it also if I can.

I dont make a whole lot, but I dont need a whole lot of money either, so now I will be getting paid about $1000 a month and some of that isnt even pay, its my earned income tax credit that my sis helped me set up, I get small pieces of it each pay period all year. And once I start school it will be a little less pay also.

Ive really gotta quit shopping and ebay buying, I buy stuff to resell but need to get more organized and only spend from moneys made, thats my weakness, but thats manageable….
