Private School

Dear Diary,

Okay so I finally talked to the Accountant at the school, you have to apply for scholarships in the summer before school starts as they have used them all for the year, and the amount varies each year as its moneys given from the church.

She said they can spread the payments out over 12 mos instead of 10 to lessen them. So that would reduce it to $288 instead of $320.

Which if B and I split it that is $144 a month each. So I wrote him, we are going over it today, Id have to come up with $150 for registration and books, but I can swing that. And he needs blue and white uniform colors which he still has a couple that he fits into since going there! LOL hes a skinny kid and its not hard to pick up white polo shirts. She even told me the kids still talk about him and miss him and they would love to have him back, so its not like it would be all new kids, hed be with kids he already knows.

Damn Im excited!

Of course Id love to put them both in the school, but right now thats financially out of the question and my oldest is in his last year and will change schools and so I have no idea what the next school will be like yet, so, and hes just a good kid, not attitude problems or any of that, my little one, he concerns me, hes very bright, needs challange, but he needs some help with that attitude.

And there are so many things hed gain again going back to that school, super small class, stricter, music classes, field trips, learning a second language, etc etc. The class I think was 8 kids! I know he wont be totally thrilled to leave the current school, but I dont think it would be too tough on him either, so say some prayers all, it may happen this week, my little guy may be going back!

Just went over it all with B and waiting for his response to determine if its a go. If not, Im determined to save up so he can go next year, so either way I plan to try and get that kiddo back there.
