The Valley
Dear Diary,
Well I cant wait until Wednesday! We get to take off to stay in the Valley! Me and the kids for 5 days!!!!! We drove down last night to see my friends. The kids loved it there. Of course we wont be staying there when the family is home, but it will still be great! I love the area, the homes, the neighborhood. The malls are nearby, beach is 30 min. She she showed me all these things we can do while down there.
So Im excited, and the kids didnt want to leave last night.
I talked to Mr Comedy on the way home, he said where Id be staying is more in his neck of the woods, so maybe we can do something when Im down there. We left late from my friends so the kids of course passed out and we stopped at B’s house on the way back and I put the kids on the couch. We also stopped by B’s work on the way out of town and he came and sat with us during his break. The kids think B is cool. Im quite happy with the way this has all gone. The kids like him but they know him just as a friend still and hes no threat and they enjoy him. So I sat up and told B last night about going to the Valley and how excited I am to go down next week. We just snuggled up and slept. I left early before the kids woke up and then we headed home.
B even called me yesterday and left me a voice mail! Wow its been awhile. Isnt it odd how things work like that. Whenever I just stop being so available and loving and making efforts to be together and just do nothing, then he starts. Its a little frustrating because when I get to the point of pulling back Im farther removed emotionally. Its like my mom says about my Dad “Why didnt he do nice things when we were happy? Now he does them when it doesnt matter anymore” referring to their marriage.
Im really learning to drive the freeways now, which is cool. And I have never driven to the Valley or known anyone there, and its just so NICE there. Im excited and I like the learning about how to get places on my own. I saw a few Jeep Wranglers, I cant wait till the day I can own one! I was dreaming about it on the drive. Telling myself one day I will have one! Me and the kids will just take off the top and head down to the beaches in it!
