Earthquake Dream

Just jotting down another one of my dreams. Had this one last night.

I was in an old historic house but not the current one I live in now. There were many people inside and I was standing on top of a padded foot rest and seeing this vent up near the cieling, it just had a grid in it and was exposed. I made a comment that all the heating and cooling would leak out right here.

There was also another spot next to it that had some issues and I was commenting on. I dont know who the other people were, it was like we all lived there but I didnt know any of them.

The foot rest began to wobble, I looked around and said “Is that an earthquake?” people were talking, tv noice, etc, nobody answered. I jumped down on the floor and it was still shaking, I ran into the entry way that was up a step, and a man was there like me wanting to get out of the house and outside in the open air. Everyone else didnt move. When I got outside there were others running out into the front yards. I saw “T” one of the guys from my Antique store, we high fived eachother.

I had the thought that it was those of us outside who had been through earthquakes before and knew what was going on who were the ones to flee our homes. I was commenting I learned that from living in California most of my life.

Some thoughts as to the dream?

I come from the San Andreas fault line, have felt earthquakes in my high school, living on a hillside with my ex when pregnant with my first born, one while in my office on the phone with the IRS( I screamed and ran outside with the guy on the phone) he said I gave him and his crew some excitement that day listening to my call, I yelled for my kids to get outside and kept the guy on the line. There is much talk of a big one hitting California again

Another thought from the dream was the people oblivious to what was going on and not even reacting. Reminds me of the world being asleep to God and recognizing his warnings.
