2nd Day Home

Dear Diary,

Well Im home again today with little one. Eeks what a week! Hopefully I can go to work tomm! Only one day this week! My mom is to watch youngest tomm, as he didnt have school anyways, he wasnt feeling well when he woke up, I gave him meds and he was fine about 9am, hes been good all day, I mean hes taking it easy but hes feeling better. We went by the school and got his math book for his one assignment to finish.

Talked to Ex’s Aunt as she was there, said hello to Uncle. Asked where they were going for Thanksgiving, They are staying here in town and not off with ex and the rest of the family but now I at least know where the kids are going. Actually they are heading out the same way as B and I with their Dad.

His Aunt and Uncle are Mormon and have 5 kids, one is married now with two kids of her own so they will have a big enough get together with all of them.

Ive been to the post office twice already! Mailing stuff out.

I did get busy and make some auction ads today and posted some already.

The weather is SOOOO nice out right now, its all sunny and pretty!

I wanted to get more house cleaning done but not sure if I will get that far, we shall see, I have to do dishes as all the bowls are dirty and stuff is everywhere!

There was a warning on tv last night that temps were dropping to freezing here last night so to watch the ice and frost, and we brought the dog into the laundry room to sleep last night.

My girlfriend D’s husband is across the street right now, hes a gardener and does the lawn over there, so we saw him as we headed to the post office and said Hello. Yep to think last year I spent Thanksgiving with D and her kids and me with my kids and her sister.

And I had a nice time, my first ever holiday spent with people not in my family. B crushed my heart last year and cancelled Thanksgiving on me the day before to spend it with a guy pal. Thats when it all crashed down and things ended shortly after. I wasnt up to family I just went to D’s. She couldnt have her boyfriend over even(now her husband) cause of her ex husband and the divorce garbage and restraining orders.

But we had a nice time, Im happy for her, she will get to have a FAMILY again this year. Dawn is such a chatty good cook, entertaining type person, and its just weird that her own family is so different and not like that. Her mom died when she was young, her dad and brothers are in New York and she says they are like Mafia type acting and looking guys! LOL

And then her one sister lives here, she is a Butch Lesbian. The two of them look NOTHING alike. Dawn is very pretty, pretty skin, dark hair, shes got Italian in her, And shes just very feminine, she said that all her family is overweight, she isnt. So she has even said she wonders if she really even belonged to her father. Cause the rest of the kids all look the same except her.

Well now I have to figure out what to tackle next! Its nice to be home and get stuff done, I cleaned my room and made the bed(which isnt usually made!) and cleaned up Bs two bags of clothes that were sitting since he moved in and found a place for them OFF THE FLOOR. Vacuumed and all, so it looked nice in there.

My biggest problem is the about of crap I have and stuff to sell, Im trying!

A person can only do so much at a time, my garage is a freaking Used 80s toy store I swear LOL.

Music Dude and I havent talked in some time, I sent him an IM the other day that just said “Hey M! I miss you!” He messaged me yesterday and said that he was driving on my freeway when my message came through on his cell phone. He laughed at the timing. He was up Skiing in Mammoth again, hes a total ski nut.

So I said “See! I knew you were closeby!”

We didnt talk long tho but was nice to just say Hi.

My little one has been so good and mellow, just home with him one on one. Today we talked about music and videos. He informed me he likes Green Day and Papa Roach. Haha, his Dads music.

We talked about being a lawyer again today, yes thats what he says he wants to be when he grows up. So today we discussed crooked lawyers, or how lawyers represent criminals too. And we talked about the Peterson trial as hes aware of it. Yes I said to my 8yr old “Do you know what the Scott and Laci Peterson thing is about?” He replied “Yes he killed his wife and dumped her off a boat in the ocean”

And we talked about celebrity lawyers and all and money. I asked him to please not be a nasty lawyer when he grows up. 🙂

We were watching Sarah McLachlans video “World On Fire” Has anyone seen it? It is basically a video full of facts and figures, but it shows her on a chair playing a guitar and it says “Cost of this video $15”

And then it goes over how much it costs to make videos, editors, producing, yada yada yada, and the cost and then tells how much in various countries things cost, like healthcare, feeding hungry children, putting in hospitals, giving kids education, and then at the end of the video it says that is where all the video money was spent on the things shown. There was this clip of this woman who makes $200 a year working full time, I cant remember what country she lived in but she works like that to put her child in school, then she sells oranges on top of that, at 1 cent a piece, and she sells maybe 20 it said a day? Or something like that. Its like Dang, still hard to believe poverty with how we live. It was a cool thought provoking video.
