He Responded

Dear Diary,

Well its about 3 hrs later. I left the Dating man be. I had to call his place and talk with his roomate about some Catering info for my employer, so it was weird telling him I need to talk to the roomie. So he sent me a little cyber hug. I said Thank you. Then he said “So would you like to do something for Valentines Day?” I said back “Is it really a problem for you? Does it bother you to do something, if so I dont want to overstep that with you. I want to be able to compromise somewhere if we need too.” He said “No its not a problem, I would love to spend time with you” And there ya have it. So he is coming over in the evening.

I have a headache, wow that was draining emotionally today. I cant even explain it. Like I have said before, I find us as a dating couple utterly interesting. But I am glad hes coming over. I guess my thought on it all is hes so wounded from years of neglect, abuse, being told hes nothing and not being acknowledged, that he still does feel this way about himself. So to me, and this is my opionion and I may be wrong, I find the “commercialism” thing a cover. Too me its deeper then that but that is a safe way to avoid going into WHY he doesnt like these days. And I also told him its not about diamond rings and flowers which he mentioned. Its as simple as 2 people sitting across from one another sharing warm words. 🙂
