Health Bio Part 2

I noticed I last wrote I dont buy things with added sugar, thats not correct, just more organic pure cane juice sugar if I do use it. And Stevia is okay also.

So Ive been juicing, trying to eat better, but still had my nightly sugar cravings and wanting my sweets!

We do like to eat out but my husband loves good food, so Im not a fast food eater, we like restaraunt dining. A lot of thai and asian foods I like now!

And a good steak is always yummy! We have a lot of great places here to eat with some creative foods, lot of healthy stuff too and organic things on the menus or gluten free.

I have also eliminated bread. I just stopped buying it. I was ONLY buying Trader Joes Sourdough bread when I did eat it, but I just stopped. No more bread or refined flour. If I eat a snack I try to find gluten free and have some recipes for snacks I now make.

My fave is oatmeal, unsweetened applesauce, 3 bananas mashed and it all mixed. I add in some dark chocolate with high cocoa content and they bake for 20 mins, that is now my cookie, my biggest treat at home.

Other then that its no fruit, grapes and watermelon are my current sweets.

I never was a big pasta person,I like it but now I dont really eat it all.

I prepare salads and meats. I have to spend more time prepping foods. I buy organic whenever I can as far as veggies, fruits and meats are concerned. Too many pesticides, medications and hormones in things now to mess around.

I dont take any meds, only thing is Tylenol when I have a bad headache as its my only cure Ive found for it, but i get them far less now so its not too often.

I take multi vitamins, b12 dots, iron during my period, and I have a host of other things, vitamins and herbs I take as needed. I started using Oil of Oregano at the onset of feeling blah or sick and give it to my kids, I use APple Cider vinegar at the sign of anything with the throat and I swear it cures it! Ive got others doing it now too!

I havent had a cold or flu in about 2 plus years or more, I cant remember. I started using a neti pot with salt water on my sinuses, and once I moved to my new home, I stopped having so many sinus probs also. I dont wake up with mucus in my throat and havent used the Neti pot since we moved. So I know enviornment also played a roll there. Im in a new state and house now, with wood floors and no carpeting.

So the only thing I hadnt tried was Candida stuff, I read of it many times browsing internet stuff with my issues and sites id read, but it was all over the board and not seemingly conclusive telling you how to know you even have it?

Well I bit the bullet, I got a Candida Cleanse supplement and stopped eating sugar, dairy, flour, bread, no caffiene, etc. And used anti fungals, garlic, ginger, coconut oil, oil of oregano. Lots of water, fruits and veggies(some say no fruits, but I kept them and did just fine) and meats. Ive had some bacon here and there but ideally I need to steer clear or Pork and bottom feeder shellfish. Other meats and fish are okay. Going back to more of the Bible dietary laws.

Its not easy! I had cravings for my junk food and walked around moaning about it. But once I got past that phase(Its nice to be at home to do all this and not have kids to cook for any longer, just a hubby who will eat what you serve him) I felt great! My energy was great! I felt good. And want to know the kicker and not the reason why I did this? WEIGHT LOSS! I literally had weight melt right off me. I started at 169, and am now at 153. Thats just from doing the Candida Cleanse, I havent gotten an exercise routine added into all this yet. We do light walking is all right now.

Its really hard to do all this while traveling and especially while eating with others or in their homes, people push food at you way too much and pressure with food. Its pretty crazy. And its not that I cant eat food. I can have, fruits, veggies and meats. But wow if I decline a glass of wine or dessert sometimes people are puzzled or push me to just do it anyways. I find people fascinating like that. Ive never been a type to do that.

So I veered off a little, but not too bad, was traveling for 2 wks, ate out, and did pretty good overall, Buying snacks and keeping them with us in the car, my homemade cookies, grapes always in an igloo. Finding local juice places and ordering meals with meat and veggies, you can always substitute out fries and things like that for veggies and salads.

So my rash is still here. So whats my next step? I kept seeing mentions of Parasites in webpages but ignored it, thought it was weird or extreme. Well I finally started to read, so thats the next course of action.

I read up and found the site for Humaworm, and got the products for hubby and I and our pets(your pets need to do it too) as they carry parasites/worms.

But I saw mention of doing a liver cleanse prior, I did have some dulling pain during the Candida cleanse that was my kidney or liver and they say they are forced to work harder to expel toxins, so its recommended to do that before a parasite cleanse. So our plan got delayed.

Hubby is off work now, so hes home with me and we can do it together. and eat together.

So we got “The Perfect Cleanse” by Garden of Life, its a 10 day cleanse, then we will do the Humaworm.

So Im really curious, more about doing the Parasite cleanse from all I have read, and to see what happens when we do it! Physically, health wise, mentally, etc.

So for now its an evening routines with the perfect cleanse, this is Day 2.

The powder for the liquid drink was hard to get down and I gagged the last bit in the glass and couldnt finish, boo, but Ill do my best, the others are capsules.

Hubby did fine.

Oh and when i did the Candida Cleanse, I did have a reaction of arm pain, that went back and forth from one arm to the other, then stayed on my left side and worked its way down gradually. I broke my wrist a few yrs ago on this arm and have a plate and pins inside now. So I wondered if thats why. I didnt get flu symptoms when the die off happens, but had these aches. Gradually during my trip the sensation moved to my hand, but turned into pins and needles feelings instense, when i sat down or drove or bend over. That got worse. So I went to the chiro when we got back. He asked what I was doing diff, he said the cleanse can cause that pain, but it typically goes back and forth, not like this, after he looked me over he said its a nerve thing and will take time. I still wonder if its tied into the Candida thing or just totally outside of it. So i still have the pins and needles in my left hand and wrist, its improving, but he said it will just take time. And I noticed all the driving I was doing aggravated it, I did a lot of full day driving and being seated on that trip, some 6 hr trips, etc.

My gf commented on my kids, it looked like I was glowing. I felt good and my energy was good while doing the candida cleanse. So that was addicting in and of itselt to NOT veer off, when you see progress and weight melt off, how can you not be drawn to that?

So will keep you updated on the Perfect Cleanse and go from here!

We made vegetable soup last night with Quinoa. Im eating Plain Green Yogurt with flax seed oil(found to stay away from the store omega oils, Ive always taken those) that they are used from the livers of cod fish etc, not quality oils. And flax seed oil is a better option, I got a bottle at Trader Joes and put it in my yogurt.

I made my cookies! And I make my daily juice, have my grapes. I do have eggs, but I see mixed thoughts on that. So its one dairy product Ive kept. No moldy cheeses allowed either. I can have Mozzarella and feta though! YAY!

So there are things you can do. I just find the more fresh veggies and fruits and herbs you cook with, the more you appreciate all their flavors and natural goodness.

And a spoonful of coconut oil each day is pretty tasty! And get rid of all your canola cooking oils! They are awful! Olive Oil and Coconut Oils are good!
