DAD!!!!!!

Dear Diary,

Well Mom called me this AM to come over and see her stuff she got from Iowa in the old house.

I will get back to that cause I need to get at my anger and frustration and my Dad right now!

See, my old bedroom, well its become more like the guest room, my moms sewing room/collectibles room, my moms collectibles that is. I had almost moved all my collectibles from childhood out of the closet but still had a big chunk of my Johnny Depp collection in there. Yes I was a Dep fan in highschool big time. I have a MASSIVE collection of memorabilia. I had penpals all over the world and internationally and built up a massive collection on items, posters, articles, tshirsts, etc.

Anyways. I had a few other scrapbooks in there too, yeah cheesy stuff I know but New Kids on the Block, Debbie Gibson, Corey Hart to name a few.

Anyways I had this shelf that was full of Depp posters sorted perfectly, Im talking like a hundred posters.

So my Dad decided while Mom was gone to move EVERYTHING out of that room to the master bedroom. Yes my parents are flipping weird. They live in a 2 story 5 bed 3 bath house not to mention two garages one big enough to fit a school bus….

Okay so they never used the master bedroom, my mom adopted the room across from a week or so after we moved in cause my parents dont share a room. My Dad adopted the den and the couch as his room all these years up until recent.

Yeah Im talking over 10 yrs ok? Well now hes sleeping in my former room,,, and well when mom went to Iowa he moved EVERYTHING OUT and put a lock on the door that takes a key.

Umm ok. My Dad moved furniture, all my moms shelves off the walls and re hung them in the master room, okay fine, no big deal, we actually were quite impressed with how much effort he took and that he organized it all.

Well I ask Dad where my stuff is. Im going to get it together, the rest of it to take home, he said some is in a drawer then he realized I had to much and he said he put it in the garage in the closet under the stairs. I go look. I see the filing shelf all the posters were in. WHEW, but nothing else, but he says its all in there in boxes n stuff.

So my mom made some comment that she was glad he moved the stuff and put it up, shed have been pissed if he threw stuff away. But she was wondering where the rest of her book collection was…

So I go by after oldest gets out of school to look again, mom is out,I pull the file sheld out and its EMPTY! The 100s of posters are NOT in it. Im paniced now and go and ask Dad again. He says its in boxes in the back(there arent any boxes!) Just games and toys and crap, not MY POSTERS and collection I had from the 80s.

I go to throw something in the dumpster and its empty except for a tiny picture of Johnny Depp and a book of mine on Hearst Castle at the bottom, OH NO.

He did not!

I go to the other dumpster that is full to the lid, newspapers and cardboard on top, I move it and dig deeper and see my moms books, a vase with flowers, nick nacks,, CRAP! He did through stuff away! I go and question him again about my stuff, 3 times, asked him what he did with the posters that were filed in the shelf, he says its in boxes in the back. Whatever, I know hes lying. So I had to leave, I didnt tell him Is aw he threw stuff away cause I had to leave and get my youngest and mom is at the hospital volunterring right now. I will call her tonight, tell her I know stuff is in the dumpster and to not let it get put on the curb. I have no idea if anything of mine is left though. 🙁 I pray it is….

I had these large rolled posters of the entire 21 Jumpstreet cast that are also missing and were sitting inside the closet, I think I pulled my autographed poster out before hand but Im not sure, I had a nice one from his fan club in the 80s that was so cool.

I dont even know if I had any scrapbooks still there. 🙁 I cant remember if the Depp ones are all here as I had so many.

So yeah, My Dad. Dammit! I really didnt have much else that I recall still there. I got all the rest of my toy stuff out a few mos ago, and some Depp stuff, but not the big shelf and the box full of various clippings and the rolled posters and all.

Oh yeah I had a Charlie Sheen scrapbook too. I pray they arent all in the dump now…

So if you have stuff at your parents home, GET IT OUT! I knew i needed to do it, get the rest out as I just had a little bit left, but dammit Dad!

My Mom is gonna be PISSED OFF TONIGHT.

I was literally shaking leaving knowing he was lying to me.

I just said “Dad, I had 100s of posters in there I had been saving since high school” he said they are in boxes! (no boxes)

I told him 3 times there were no boxes in there.

So my stuff he threw in the trash thank you very much! And the reason I know it cause of the two items laying hte bottom of the EMPTY trash can which means the one can was already picked up and those were the remnants at the bottom.

DAMMIT

Thats just irreplaceable stuff ya know?

So I will try and talk about the other stuff today despite my anger right now and waiting for mom to get home to speak to her.

Mom brought home two suitcases of paper stuff from Grandmas, big sis has the rest at her place. Anyways Mom wanted to show me stuff. Tons of letters, letters my mom wrote, relatives, my sisters, etc to my grandparents. Letters my Dads dad wrote to he and his mom.

Its so fascinating ya know? But the biggest find my sister found was in the bedroom closet under clothes, the photo album! Im talking pics of my mom as a baby and her mom and family and her childhood. My mom had wanted this ever since her mom died and even before but Grandma hoarded everything, nobody could find it or they thought my aunt had it and wasnt saying. Well my big sister found it!

So now its here in California and its really cool as it a treasure trove of photos.

I read some letters my big sister wrote, two of them, about me. 🙂 They were written in 1972-73. My sister wrote about me being born and Dad taking mom to the hospital and my big sis eager and waiting to see me and was so happy when I came home and told them “You gotta see the baby, she is so cute!”

And a letter my brother wrote my grandpa when he got kicked out of the house as a senior by my parents, and a letter my mom wrote about the trouble with my siblings when they were teens and their behavior. Haha.

Just all kinds of stuff.

And as I said, my grandparents on both sides, well there stuff is in the place! My grandma drug items from my other grandmas house to her house then to her mobile home.

So not only is there one families stuff but both in there.

OH! ANd my mom read me a letter she wrote to my Dad in 1951! LOL My mom said “Yeah heres how dumb I was and I should have listened to what my head was telling me” LOL Shes wrote it during class she mentions my Dad’s mom might catch her (My Dads mom was the school teacher)

She tells my Dad she likes when he calls her babe, my Dad has some boy in school spying on her and my mom is saying “Dont you trust me?” and telling my Dad he will drive her crazy. Stuff like that, how my mom wont go with any other boy but him, LOL

Yeah my parents have been together since they were 16 and 19 yrs old.

So just some cool stuff. Old Valentines cards too that were pretty cool. My big sister has the objects, mom just brought back papers and photos. My big sister got some cool wooden cabinet, salt and pepper shakers, things hanging on the walls.

Mom said they wont be going in there again that this is it and the trailer is gonna collapse eventually but they spent days in there, hours so they got a lot out, I know myself, Id find more LOL. But they got all they wanted, and my Uncle said afterwards how shocked he was Grandma had that stuff in there as they cleaned her house out so many times for her and threw stuff away when she was alive. My mom is also abmazed at how much genealogy work my Grandma did even though she was mental at the end so my Mom has some really cool family records also.

I love the old photos tho, Id love to get some copies and enlarge some and frame them in my home, mom is going to be going to Staples soon to make the copies and Id love to redo the album for her in a Creative Memories type album to protect them all.

So anyways, that stuff was cool, pissed off at Dad. But at the same time my Dad is weird this way. I just hope my stuff is in the other dumpster or some of it at least but then its all crushed and wrinkled I bet as I had it laying flat and in excellent condition…. sighhhhhhhhhhhh

I cant dwell in that, it depresses me.

I pulled out the kids baby clothes and sorted it for the consignment store, she told me to come back sat to take the baby stuff in as they are emptying a bunch of racks. So I couldnt drop anything off today. I have so many of the kids baby stuff and I dont want it anymore. They are 9 and 11 now! I need to let that stuff go!

Wow some memories pop up tho with some of those little outfits. I even found the one my girlfriend D gave me when my second was born and she had us over for dinner, when we were with our ex husbands. Ah how wild eh?

I found this totally cute Winnie the Pooh Sweater tho, Im gonna keep it out though and probably ebay that though if I can as its really unique and I cant even remember where I got it but it wasnt new but its really nice. So I had a few other Pooh outfits I pulled out and will probably ebay them all together some time in the future.

I just hope the store takes a lot of this stuff, I have a load int he wash right now with the stains along the collars I spray and washed and soaked in hot water and bleach and will see how they come out as they dont take the stained stuff.

But I still have LOTS.

I didnt feel to good today, weak again. I want to be back to normal, I want to go to Muscle Camp class tomm morning, hope I feel decent.
