Crisis after Crisis

Dear Diary,

Just got an email from S, my girlfriend from college who was the sister of my previous neighbor. They are going through a lot of family issues right now, I cannot even imagine, her email for today said….

“I only have a minute…

Things here are still very stressful and hectic. My dad has been back in ER twice now, but he’s home now. I was told yesterday that if he wasn’t in the hospital when this happened, he would not have survived. That was very hard to hear.

His only regular employee had a stroke last week and is paralyzed from the waist down and has a blood clot in his brain. So (My Old Neighbor Hubby) is going out and helping dad, but when he got there this morning, my dad’s van was broken into and some of his equipment was stolen.

My sister is still losing a lot of blood, did I even tell you about that? She had a mastectomy and has lost a lot of blood.

I guess I am taking care of (Their Son/My kids best buddy former neighbor) while all this stuff is going on, he spent the night here and I took him to school this morning and I have to pick him up at 2:20. I have to make a couple of appointments myself, I am freaked out right now.

Now mind you, My neighbors are splitting up, living in 2 different cities, he came by friday as I was saving the mail for them.

Her sister who is 32 just had a mastectomy, really pretty woman with a toddler and a husband.

Then their Father just had a stroke,

Yikes,,,,

I offered to take the boy in the eves, my kids would love to have him over, so I just passed the word along, will call up the hubby tho too to tell him, heck I can take him to school in the am also if they want, he was around here so much hes not a bother to have, but I dont they will take me up on it, but you never know, so I offered.
