Military Dude

Dear Diary,

Well later part of my day was better, but now Im back to that Blah feeling. Just hit me after I put the kids to bed, and got online and none of my friends are on to chat with. Im just lonesome is all.

The lady who cleans the place I work for came and made us lunch today! What a treat! She is from El Salvador and made these things called “Papoosas” So she made flour tortillas from scratch, and inside them were either ground up pork, mozzarella cheese, or beans. You got to pick. They were good! She is so sweet.

It kinda made for a nice day since its been awhile since we hung out in the kitchen. When I first started we all ate together for lunch, but then drama and love triangles and anger and jealousys crept up with people getting involved and well its all ended. We all go and eat in our offices at our desks now. So today a few of us sat in the kitchen. It was nice.

I went to the gym after work, talked to my buddy and he comes in with these 2 older fellas, I have started to just smile or say Hi to them since they are always with him. So today one of them started teasing me majorly at the gym, giving me a hard time. And both guys were complementing how nice my arms and shoulders are looking. 🙂 YAY

I then went and got the kids, well guess what? My coworker ( the one I dont trust much that used to work with my ex) Well her daughter is working in the after school program with my kids now. She used to babysit for me and ex, then for awhile after ex and I split up. But then my ex called one night and thats when the whole B story came out and the girl was there and relayed what she heard to her mom, then it was all over work, and this whole gossip story of me having some guy over(which they thought was computer guy at work) started. I came home one night and the girl was asleep on the floor with the front door wide open and the screen unlocked. And the last time the kids cried when I left. So that was her last night watching the kids. So it was strange. Its been about 2 yrs, but just wierd there she is back in my life, shes supposed to be moving out of the state soon. So hopefully it wont be for long, but you never know, people change their plans.

Got the kids and we went to Costco. I got this nice Calvin Klein tank top at the one by B’s house, I LOVE IT! And I wanted to get more, in different colors, they are perfect for working out in. Well my Costco doesnt have them! Grrrr I was so bummed about it! So If Im up to it. I can trek out with the kids next weekend to the other one, but we shall see. Id just hate if they are all sold out. 🙁

So we picked up some food, and had my favorite Salmon tonight.

This was kids first time in Costco since they were tiny, My little one is like “WOW, MOM, this is the biggest store huh!” it was funny.

Got gas afterwards, then headed home.

Well good news on the divorce legal homefront, Ex contacted attny office, is supposedly coming by their office tonite to pick up the papers they are leaving under their mat, and they said he can go to a Kinkos to get it notarized up until Midnite. Since Ex is working out of the area right now he cant be in town during the open hrs. They said the signed and notarized papers need to be there by Thurs AM. So we shall see if he does it! Please Lord!

Hes back seeing the chick again that I know. That bummed me out. Dammit why cant he just date someone I dont know?? This was a longer break up for them, and ex had become so nice to me after the breakup. I hope he stays nice. ::Sigh::

So kids were at her place on Easter.

My mom informed me my little one told her he thinks it would have been better to be at “HOME” for Easter. He seemed not to thrilled about his Easter with Dad. It was Dads first holiday alone with them, and I did none of the Easter stuff for the kids since they werent around. I left it up to him.

Tonight my oldest said “Mom can you come in my room?” When it was bedtime, now and then I sit and just talk with them, they love that. So we talked about their Easter, then we talked about the Titanic film I saw, and the real story of the Titanic. Just neat to sit and have a convo with your child. You just forget how much you dont take the time to just sit and TALK and LISTEN to your kids, Its often rushed and hurried and the minimum.

So it was nice. Today at Costco my oldest said “Mom? Is B coming over soon?” I said ” I dont know hun, why do you ask?” Hes all ” I dunno” I said “Do you want him to come over?” Hes all “Yeah”

Hes done this several times now, asking if B will be coming, he likes B. And he wants to see him too.

Last time when B was over, we were laying in bed watching tv, my oldest crawled in next to me, then wanted to get in the middle between B and I but I told him No. And didnt let him hang out long with us as it was his bedtime. After he left B made a comment that my oldest was jealous of him and wanting my attn. I said to B “No, B, I dont see that at all. He wants to be with US. When I was with my ex, we were very affection with our children and together, he used to crawl in bed with us and snuggle up.” B is just not used to that type of thing. He didnt grow up with any of that. So he doesnt even know how to see what it is, but I explained it to him and he didnt argue it with me.

OH!!! I totally keep forgetting to write this!!!!! I talked to Military dude ont he weekend!!!! ONLINE! He popped on Yahoo and I was all shocked to see his name on!He was shot, Here is what he said….

Me:wow

Him: hey you. This is so weird

Me: yeah your online?

Him: Yep – I’m in Bahrain

Me: where is that?

Him: How are you????

Me: Im ok did you get my letters?and How are you doing?

Him: Yes – I got one of your letters

Me: Ok I sent another

Him: I’m surviving How about you??

Me: Im doing pretty good

Him: This is so friggen weird It’s 3 am here – what are the odds?

Me: haha 4 pm here

Him: < -- is trippn out
Me: HIYEEEEEEEEE

Him: LOL

Me: SO how you holding up?

Him: I’m doing alright. I got shot But I’m doinbg okay

Me: oh wow, where at?

Him: So – no worries, okay?

Me: ok

Him: I don’t want anyone to freak out anymore that they need to

Me: I know but dont lie to me either ok?Im a big girl

Him: I won’t. I’m serisously okay, I’ll be fine.

Me: ok good

Him: Whats up?????? LOL

Me: Ummm one more week is the big court day, to hopefully be divorced and get the house

Him: I’m just trippn out because I was about to write some mail – and say hi

Him: Wow – really? One week huh?

Me: yeah Im anxious

Him: I bet Then youll be a free woman. THats very cool

Me: Im free already but u know what i mean legally. Im just out here living life, following the news, local homefront stuff

Him: Well, I definately have a smile on my face right now

Me: YAY!

Him: How is everything else?Still have a B-friend?

Me: Well the boyfriend thing is still going, hes been good boy

Him: thats cool

Him: THings working out okay then?

Me: My kids drew u pictures.if you get the other letter I sent I mailed it about a week after the first one

Him: I did get those

Me: ok hmm then I sent one before that one

Him: Mail was pretty sketchy Sometimes it would show up – other times not

Me: well Im glad you got one

Him: Me too

Him: I got some of that “any solider” mail, I worte back as often as I could. I only wonder whats going on back there

Me: like what?

Him: Just how America is.. stuff like that. Kinda weird – I’ve been gone for so long. Man – this is such a trip

Me: I was surprised to get mail from you

Him: How so?

Me: I dunno just was used to talking to you few times a year, mr mystery then poof gon

Him: You didn’t think I would write. Thats me alright

Me: so youve been more reliable

Him: LOL Life has changed a bit

Me: Im like wow hes actually keeping in touch, which Im not complaining. Its nice to hear from u

Him: I ve been trying Its nice to be heard

Him: So – are you getting married anytime soon?

Me: NOOOOOOO

HIM: LOL

Me: NO WAYYYY

Him: just checkn

Me: You?

Him: Not that I know of

Me: you got some pen pal your gonna run to Vegas with?

Him: You never know

Him: Meet ya there? LOL

Me: aweeee I think Im all for shacking up nowadays

Him: Shacking up isn’t bad

Me: marriage, wow gotta go easy on me with that word

Him: LOL

Me: naw I dont think so either, Im not anti marriage, just gonna be careful been thru crap

Him: I hear ya

Me: and I have my kids, a home, good financial shape financially, so its kinda nice ya know? so how long u think youll be away? or have any idea yet?

Him: I’m getting better and maybe I’ll go back with my unit or maybe home

Me: so who shot u? can u say?

Me: where did he get ya?

Him: Didn’t catch his name. LOL

Him: It was in the leg – wasn’t bad. I didn’t even see it coming

Me: so are u just recovering?

Him: I was with RCT 1 (marine unit) we started taking fire and I look donw and I’m bleeding

Him: I walked out with it – so it wasn’t bad

Me: ok good, Im glad you are ok , Would give you a hug

Him: The doc seemed the think it was a ricoccet

Me: Love ya!

Him: Hey – I have got to get off this computer – I will send you some mail very soon – k?

Him: Love you too
