Im Rich!
Dear Diary,
YAY! YIPPIEEEE! WOOHOOO!!!
Just called and checked my savings account balance. I had direct deposit for my tax refund and have been checking and checking. ITS THERE! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!
Haha Im rich! Ok not really, but yes its the largest amount of money Ive ever received in my life. You know its funny but I could have it all spent no problem.
So first things I will do???? Well I get to pay off the credit card debt! YAY! And Im calling to make the kids dentist appointments today also.
Im so glad it arrived. I really wanted to take the kids to do something like a mini vacation, I want to take them to Lego Land. And I was just looking in a magazine last night with an ad for it and wondering if Id get my refund in time and I did! WOOHOO! So in about 2 weeks Ill see if I can pull together a little trip for the kids and I.
YAY! YAY! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Now I do have to be good and put some of this money aside. In savings or a CD or something.
I have been able to talk to my girlfriend A 2 days in a row now. She keeps telling me shes gonna call me in the evenings but so far she hasnt. We did talk yesterday online though. We talked about her obsessive compulsive cleaning habits. She told me her little girl who is 4 started a preschool. And that the other day it was raining and that she dreaded her daughter coming home because of her rainboots! And that she took them off and sand fell out and she just started to cry ( My friend the Mom began to cry) And her daughter now vacuums and tries to console her mommy and clean things up. Ugh, its so sad. I was telling her how my kids make their own breakfast and lunches now, how things get easier when they get older. She said she couldnt imagine her kids doing that. I said “Well they are messy” And she said “Oh see that would bug me! I cant handle mess or any crumbs, it upsets me” and I said “I know” and shes all “Victoria, IT REALLY UPSETS ME” I asked her if she watched the Dr. Phil on women like this, she said she missed it so I referred her to the site. Not that it will help much. I dont know. Her mom was this way to her as a child, and now her mom doesnt care about being clean, and now A is the exact same way. Its really bad. When A was little she kept getting yeast infections and the dr said she bathed too much or something, I remember this, her mom made her take baths all the time. And A said if something falls on the floor she has to disenfect everything. Its just crazy. 🙁 I love her dont get me wrong, and she even said yesterday “You think Im crazy dont you?” I said “We all are” and she said “Dont judge my weirdness, its what makes me Fun” was her end to the convo.
Ive known her since we were in gradeschool, we spent a lot of time together in our teenage years and yes we had a lot of fun. I havent SPENT time with her in many years, and the last time I did I couldnt handle it and had to go home early do to her obsessive compulsiveness. Its very uncomfortable being at her house. You cant do anything right and its just not any fun at all. She wasnt like this as a teen, and she wasnt this bad when she was out of highschool. I think she got bad when she got married.
We still have a fun time talking, and I was thinking about putting together a little fun gift package to send her, just some silly stuff, that only we would get the jokes too. I sent her a Strawberry Shortcake Doll the year before for Christmas/Birthday and she said she cried. It so turns out our other childhood friend sent her a Strawberry Shortcake game. Since we all had these as kids and played them. But no longer had our original dolls.
Ive got a busy rest of the week ahead, work, kids groups, and the kids have rehearsals at the school for a program at the local theatre, Mom is taking them to practice today for me. Plus I called one of ex’s relatives who I was supposed to go see and talked to her yesterday and she thought I forgot about her. 🙁 So Ill go over this week also, AND have to take the dog in to get his stitches out, class tonight, B may come out, then friday kids leave. And I have all the way till next friday ALONE! Wowie.
