Value Work

Dear Diary,

Well I put in a call the other day to my Ex’s old employer. I knew my ex left on bad terms. And this man is a older Christian Man. I also knew my ex purchased many of his work tools thru this job so I am writing up an estimate for the value of my ex’s tools for legal paperwork. So I wanted to see if he could help me out.

He did call back today, he said to me “Victoria, I dont think to highly of your ex, he left here with a lot of my things, and him taking the label machine of mine was the last straw that broke the camels back. I was very bitter for awhile, I dont take to kindly to the things he has done, and at this point I dont see any repentence from him. He keeps calling me about doing work for the company hes now with, and Im sorry but I dont want anything to do with him, Ive already been burned once, not again. Im amazed your marriage lasted as long as it did. I know that you will be ok, you are a intelligent and bright woman.”

And he said to write up a list of as many things as I could. He guessed that the amount of tools from the time he worked for him was around $3000 from getting charged on this mans work account. I believe I do have a few old Home Depot statements filed that list another $800 purchase. And then Im basically going to have to go thru Home Depot and do some figures writing on tools, saws, etc.

But my ex has been in this line of work for Years, so thats just a piece of what I need to figure up. I need to be prepared.
