Diff Living Space?

Dear Diary,

My garage is almost totally packed! Its fun though, with all the stuff my mother has brought over, Im picking out stuff still that I want. She brought over an old dresser I fell in love with and will have to clean up. What Im going to do with all this furniture, who knows! LOL I have way too many dressers. Some that arent really functional because the drawers dont open well, but they are visibly pretty. Older antiques.

I talked to my long time friend R last night briefly online. Was telling him the latest news with the divorce and family stuff. He was upset to hear the newest stuff with the in law and he told me to MOVE. I wish it were all that simple.

When I was at Barnes and Noble today, and at the park at the kids, even though I have grown up in this town, I have begun to see 2 different worlds. I totally love where boyfriend lives, the area, the town, its rated low on crime. Its very yuppy like, and the homes there are more than double where I live. There is so much to do and see. And you can just feel it in the air, in the stores, in the businesses, Its a good area to raise a family, from what I see.

Boyfriend has taught me a lot of odd things I havent noticed. That he said you can tell what class of people live in an area by what the gas station mini marts sell. I had no idea that was true. But it is! Up where he is there is a lot of healthy foods and oodles of protein bars n things. Some places here you cant find anything like that. And up there you have a wide selection. He also commented on spending an eve once at our Barnes and Noble. Ive never really people watched deeply there or spent much time, but its very different from the mood where hes at, he has Starbucks on every corner where he is, we just got our first one here finally but its not closeby and its not all cozy like the ones in his area, the type where you would sit and hang out. I just really LIKE IT where he is at. But he also is only in that area because he rents a room out. Funny he pays the same amount for renting a room that I pay for my house mortgage payment. But Ohhh the place is OH SO NICE.

I had a long talk online this AM with his roomate. Shes so cool and she was so nice, asking me how things were going with the divorce and my kids and offering any help she can give. Boyfriend was so lucky to get a place to stay with her. Shes such a cool woman. I admire her. Her husband died when her daughter was a tiny thing. And shes been on her own since. Shes done well for herself, works in the restaraunt business, has a nice home in a nice area. It just shows me women can make it on there own, but of course shes renting a room out! HA so she must need the income, but still shes making it, the community is a planned one with its own school in it, ok umm have I said how much I love it there? :::sigh:::

Things take time and patience, and hard work to reach certain areas in ones life.

Oh but still what I wouldnt give to live by the beach! Oh Newport Beach was lovely. Such pretty homes, beautiful landscaping. What I wouldnt give to just spend a weekend in one!
