Help? Questions?

Dear Diary,

Well next round with the Ex. :::Sigh:::

He has been telling the children he is coming but not giving me a formal notice of when and what time so I emailed him to ask when so I can arrange the drop off. I also have a big Work event that has been planned for a long time that Sunday and I wont be home so my Mom was watching the kids for me so I needed to know when he was bringing them back and make sure its all arranged properly.

So He sends me an email telling me I have to travel an hour and half out of town the day of my work event to his Aunts or my Sisters house to pick them up!

I wrote back and told him it was impossible for me to do that and to make other arrangements.

He then responded again telling me “YOU NEED TO MAKE THE ARRANGEMENTS TO PICK THEM THIS IS A FAIR REQUEST”

Ok Im seething here, first off I knew he would try some way to screw with this Sunday event of mine. I had just thought he would be here and show up to screw with me and the boyfriend, but now he is just trying to make my plans ruined.

So Im working on a response letter. I had never thought I would have to write out such petty stuff in the settlement agreement. So Im going to have to discuss with my Attny how that all works.

So for right now how do I handle this? I know what hes trying to do to me. He could very well visit the children here locally and not take them out of town to save the travel hassle, or he can return them earlier if his flight issue is a problem. We have always arranged the drops offs here in town where we live. So is it cool for him to do this? Plus Im not available that day to begin with and my Mother is scheduled to watch them for me. And Im not driving out around midnight in the dark out of town on a school night to pick up the kids where he says I have to go. And Im not making my Mom do this either.

And then if he pushes this I will have to tell them he cannot visit them then, which I know he will go with the next manipulation route of “She wont let me see my kids!”

Hes such a bastard.

Anyone who has had to deal with such issues I would appreciate feedback.
